Medical school advice?

It’s interesting that we tell kids not to be too focused on getting a specific job based on a specific degree in college on certain threads, yet on the pre-med threads, we always tell them to take a look at the end product if they don’t make it into medical school.

Well, that’s because the majority of pre-med students are bio majors, and if they dont end up in med schools, they have problems getting jobs…because there’s a glut of bio majors.

It is also because pre-meds are inherently pre-professionally oriented, and the gap in job and career prospects between being a physician and being just another one of numerous biology bachelor’s degree graduates who did not get into medical school is vast.
