My MA dental coverage went up too.
I haven’t read from here down in this thread but I individually picked out my plan which is Humana PPO. Very similar to @Thumper’s and @MaineLonghorn’s husband’s experience.
After reading this thread, I made an appointment with a financial counselor at the local hospital to review my choice of a BC/BS PPO Medcare Advantage Plan. She has years of experience with this. She again suggested my current plan and told me she is soon turning 65 and will choose the same MA plan for herself. She did say I could go for the $0 premium plan but I lke the lower out of pocket maximum for my $79 plan.
I think the main issue- on both sides of the debate- is not to paint with too large a brush. Clearly there are variations from state to state, company to company and plan to plan.
