I'm on a prescription anti-biotic for acne. If I bring this with me to I-Day, will it cause any hassle? But I suppose it's either bring it with me, or not take it at all since medicine cannot be sent in a care package. Any thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks

The academy already knows through your Dodmerb that you are on the medication, since you had to let them know about any medications, it is lawfully prescribed, you got appointed, yes bring it, all they can do is say it has to go until one of their MD's looks it over. I recall reading somewhere that you should bring all prescribed medications with you. I don't think the Naval Academy has any interest in making the Mids suffer without medication such as yours.

Well it is different from the medication I was taking when I went through the DODMERB process last summer, but I think your point still holds. Thank you.

It says in the white packet sent in the PTR exactly what to do about medications. Bring your medication with a note from your doctor explaining what its for, how much you take, when you take, etc.

They didn't even look at it last summer. Just stick it in a bag with your prescription and they shouldn't say anything. They'll ask what meds your on but you shouldn't encounter any problems. They won't sit there and compare what you're on now and what you said then.
