Men’s Varsity Eight Ranked #20 In USRowing Collegiate Poll

<p>WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's varsity eight is ranked No. 20 in the latest USRowing men's varsity eight poll released on Wednesday. The Crusaders received 16 points. This is the first time the varsity eight has been ranked in this poll since May 24, 2006, when it was No. 19. The Crusaders were also No. 16 on May 18, 2005.</p>

<p>The varsity eight recently placed third in the third level final at the Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond on May 19, defeating No. 20 George Washington, Rutgers and MIT. The Crusaders also defeated George Washington in the opening heat.</p>

<p>The Crusaders will conclude the season at the IRA National Championship (May 31-June 2) on Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif.</p>
