Mendoza and Arabic or Global Studies

I am incoming freshman, pre-approved for Mendoza. I want to study international business and continue with Arabic language and Middle East Studies. Is it possible to do this and graduate with a degree from Mendoza or do I have to switch to the Global Studies major in the Keough School?

Did you check with Mendoza? You would need to check the academic recommended plan for the majors… I’d think you’d need summer school to get it done. Or a minor in Arabic and middle eastern

@RFM1617 - also keep in mind Arabic classes will likely be 4 days per week. That may present scheduling challenges, but as @airway1 suggested, check with Mendoza.

Just a note as you get into core major I’ve noticed at most research schools summer is very limited in course selection. With my son working with him in pushing general subjects, some math (no pre req classes) and some core early classes to summer to open up more slots with his double major… also, electives requirements in a certain major can be core classes for the other… it needs a lot of playing around by looking at summer and spring of past to get a better indication on course load and what’s available in Fall, spring and summer.
