I'm having hard time to decide. Which one would be a better choice for HS students heading towards Pre-Med major. Like which one gives you more preparedness to handle the bio/phy/chem labs and stuffs? Both mentorship and research experiences are sponsored by school (both are quite demanding and strong programs, but you can only choose one for whole senior year). The basic difference is that in REsearch Experience you write paper, perform research etc. on your own ON CAMPUS while for Mentorship you work with a mentor of Duke or UNC or NC State on a pre-determined research they assign. Can anyone give me their opinion of which one to choose, if one is heading towards medicine? (well, I'm actually heading for clinical medicine) I'm currently thinking of choosing Mentorship since you can have a real-life experience.
