Hey there,

I'm currently a four-year senior at Mercersburg Academy. While MA isn't as prestigious as say... Exeter or Andover, it is still a great school. If you are planning a visit to the campus, I would recommend you plan on coming sometime within the next two weeks (first and second weeks of April) . When the magnolias and plum blossoms are in bloom, MA is absolutely stunning. If you have any questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them.

Also, if anybody is attending the re-visit day on March 30th, keep an eye out for the tall asian in the Octet. We'll be preforming for you at lunch!

Can applicants for 08-09 visit for a tour and interview during the summer?

While there is staff on campus during the summer for Summer Programs etc., I wouldn't recommend visiting during the summer. Of course, if you can't make it during the academic year I'm sure that the Admissions Office can make arrangements.

Try calling them at 717-328-6173.

My daughter is visiting tomorrow. I will PM you.

Gunadic (who is a good friend of mine outside of CC as well) makes a very good point. You don't want to visit Mercersburg during the summer because it is just completely different. The school has a big summer program with all kinds of summer camps and activities, which are decidedly different from seeing how the school functions during the academic year.

Spring at Mercersburg is one of a kind, and its great that re-visit day is during this particular time of year because the flowering trees just make Mercersburg unforgettable. If I weren't stuck writing papers in New Jersey right now I would be there as well. Take advantage of this great opportunity.
