Merit based scholarships for us citizens living abroad

Hello everybody!
Is anyone aware of any websites/scholarship programs that give merit based scholarships to US citizens living abroad?
My SAT score (Math + CR) is 1360
I am doing my A levels for which my grades are in the A's and B's.
I would also appreciate any ideas on how to minimize college costs.
Thanks y'all

private scholarships are often for small amounts and only for frosh year. If you want scholarships for all 4 years, then you need to apply to the COLLEGEs that give them.

How much merit do you need? How much will your parents pay each year?

Are you going to retest? Often better scholarships are for higher scores. Yours might get some merit, but maybe not as much as you’d want.

What would you say that your GPA is?

Look at small private schools like Baylor, TCU, Whitworth, Gonzaga, etc, they all offer $10k+ per year to their top admits.

You should be eligible for most scholarships that citizens studying inside the US are eligible for, so take a look at [Fastweb : Scholarships, Financial Aid, Student Loans and Colleges](http://www.fastweb.com/) and the other scholarship searching websites. As the other moms have written, the best money is usually from the colleges and universities themselves, so do check each institution’s website for specific information about that institution’s financial aid and scholarships.

Your best bet for staying sane through this whole process, is to start out with a clear understanding of how much your family will pay for your education. That way you will be able to come up with a plan that makes a US degree program possible.
