Merit Scholarship

What are the different levels of merit scholarships SMU offers with admission. Also, what are my chances of getting anything. If I have a chance, what is a likely amount I would get? Also, do I have a chance at BBA Scholars?

ACT: 34 (Science 27, Math 35, English 36, Reading 36) + Writing 27
SAT (old): 2290 (Reading 800, Math 740, Writing 750)
GPA: 91.68 / 100
I go to one of the best private schools in the country and my school is well-known by selective colleges in the United States.

I expect to have strong Letters of Recommendations, especially the counselor one
My essays are pretty strong as I am a pretty good writer and I had multiple people read them over

Yes, you have a very good chance of getting merit money. I can’t speak to how much, but my sister got 20k with stats only a little below your own.

you should have a shot at a presidential scholarship. (obviously no way to tell who may get one) but these numbers will keep you competitive. Also, you should look into applying for the hunt leadership scholarship, especially if you are a club president, or captain of your softball team, that could help.

BBA scholar you will also have a good shot at
