The advanced Oxford dictionary and thesaurus are really useful while reading books or writing an essay. English being my second language the value of the dictionary is priceless. I couldn’t find a better dictionary for my PC!

I also found that I have to turn on my laptop or PC much fewer times a day because I can do my casual web browsing and email checking on the iPhone.

With the addition of QuickOffice to the appstore the iPhone’s value increased even more for me. I’m required to do a lot of organizing, and I mainly use excel for that. Editing excel spreadhseets on the iphone is a breeze.

Furthermore, I’m looking forward to being able to taking snapshots of text with the new iPhone 3G S since its camera has autofocus now. I imagine being able to take snapshots of articles instead of copying them down will be extremely helpful in a college setting.

I guess the iPhone is becoming a great gaming console too. Game developers have stated that the iPhone 3G S is capable of better graphics than the PSP.

I’m a windows mobile user with a touch pro and i like having the keyboard with a touch screen. however, if you don’t know how to mod windows mobile it’s terribad stock, but if you do i find a lot of my iphone friends jealous of my phone.

But the iphone has alot of apps and its alot easier to pick up and use so you should definitely grab one if you don’t feel like having to tinker with your phone and want alot of usability from day one. Be careful though they have the weirdest insurance policy, my friend got his stolen in Cabo this year and they said he couldn’t replace it because it doesn’t come with insurance or something so don’t get jacked.

I love my iphone. My H and our S have one and we are all hooked. You get used to the touchscreen for texting and email. It is very convenient to have on hand and it is only going to get better. The new OS upgrade has many good features. I am not addicted to the apps but the ones I have I use often. I’d highly recommend it.

My mother has an iPhone 3G, and I can’t stand using it for a couple of (surprising) reasons. The tilt function (changing the iPhone from portrait to landscape) does not work well at all. Maybe it’s just her phone. Typing with the touchscreen is very, very easy; I don’t make mistakes anymore, and I rarely use it. However, the auto-complete feature is ANNOYING AS HELL. It makes me want to rip my hair out. I don’t know if you can deactivate it, but it does more hindrance than help; I can’t tell you how many times it’s screwed up an acronym or word by changing it into something completely different. Most importantly, however, is that even on maximum volume, it is very hard to hear somebody else’s call. When I have to take a call for her, I have problems hearing everything.

I love my iPhone!
The texting is hard sometimes, but not really. Especially since with the new upgrade, texting can be landscape instead of just portrait as well… but the autocorrect feature is awesome (to me at least). You just have to pay attention to what you’re saying, and when you say lol it always says LOL so you sound like a ****** bag sometimes.
Trace is an addicting game for free that has tons of levels, highly recommended.
The youtube, ipod, email, and free internet is awesome and totally worth it.
It’s also pretty and flashy. Tap tap, oldbooth, and who wants to be a millionaire are also awesome apps.
Free facebook, myspace, flixter, google, ebay, google earth, ■■■ (lol), wikipedia, and various international newspapers are also awesome!
As well as fun ones (for immature people) such as atomic fart, funny pics, cool facts, starbux locator, pac man, fortune ball, ipickup lines, swine flu detector, and zippo lighter.
I love it!

I’ve had an iPhone since Apple first released it 2 years ago. I am admittedly more of a fanboy than an impartial observer, as waiting in line for the newest iPhone upgrade has become sort of a yearly tradition for me now. To really understand why the iPhone is so much better than other phones, you need to use it for an extended period of time. I came from a WiMo phone with essentially the same feature set, but the ease of use of the iphone combined with the degree to which everything is integrated together enabled me to actually use a lot of features that were otherwise inconvenient on my other phone.

I don’t know anyone who has regretted buying an iphone.
