<p>They both kind of seem to be the same college; same mission, ideals, etc.</p>
<p>What is more appealing about one or/over the other?</p>
<p>College Nine has newer and better residential quarters than Merrill - about 4-5 years old compared to Merrill's being 37 years old. My son who graduated from Cowell last year said Merrill's core course had a bad reputation. Merrill gets a lot more sun than College Nine. That's all I know.</p>
