Mexican Restaurants

What are the best Mexican restaurants within walking distance of UCLA?

there is an Acapulco in westwood....definitely not the best but its acceptable and within walking distance

I second the Acapulco nomination.

mexican food is unhealthy ><

...but good. =)

Rendezvous also offers decent "Mexican" entrees if you want to eat on-campus.

uh... any type of food can be healthy and unhealthy: it depends on the way the maker prepares it, what extent he uses certain ingredients, etc....

how close is the closest chipotle? I ... must know this haha.

Chipotle
244 South Beverly Drive
Beverly Hills, CA 90212
..at least thats what their website says! hehe...so pretty much the two closest ones are in Beverly hills...I'd say go to the one in Beverly Center so you can shop and eat!! heh

I go to the Chipotle on Beverly. About 10 minutes by car.

I don't have the energy to deal with the mess that is Beverly Center parking just for some soft tacos.

OH. BUT THEY DELIVER. Which is amazing.

they deliver? no freaking way...they dont' have delivery in colorado. this is news to me! we have internet and fax order for pick-up :(

well according to my Zagat 2006 food survey the best mexican restaurants rated in the LA version of the guide happen to be quite near UCLA (within 10-20 minutes driving distance).

Loteria! (it's apparently really cheap too)
Tlapazola Grill
Guelaguetza

According to this delivery service book thing I have, they deliver. But then they aren't on the service's website.

So maybe not. But yeah, we still have internet/fax/phone orders.

baja fresh and jose bernsteins in westwood...and thats all i can think of haha...

oh jose bernsteins!!! they have really good burritos!! our floor would get takeout delivered from them as a group all the time heh!

Jose Bernstein's for takeout? No comment.
