<p>Hello, I am interested in attending the University of Miami for the major neuroscience. What are the school of Arts and Sciences' gen ed requirements?</p>
<p>You can easily look this up - usually, 12 credits in each discipline for categories including social studies and humanities; natural science I think is 6 and foreign language ranges from 3-9. </p>
<p>Google the web page for specifics - also, just as a reminder; every major requires a minor (based on examination)! Forgive me for providing a “rough” outlook of core requirement. </p>
<p>P.s. There is an English Language and Composition requirement - including five writing intensive courses.</p>
<p>It’s probably right there on the homepage for the College of Science or whatever tis called.</p>
