What happened? Just too soft inside? Just too young? I know they are playing a tough team on the road - but wow, this is ugly and they haven't looked confident in some time.

I missed the first half of the game and came back to this slaughter. I don’t even understand.

Trust me, I love winning, but at this point it’s not even fun to watch =/

It’s definitely the inexperience coupled with Big Ten road games. They don’t work well together. This has been evident at Ohio State, Wisconsin, and (to a lesser extent) Indiana. Although, the struggles of Hardaway tonight are inexplicable. However, even a hot night by him would not have dug them out of this mess. Let’s move on and hope we win out (because, looking at their schedule, it seems possible)!

Michigan had a very tough stretch, and last week’s loss against Wisconsin was definitely a blow to the team’s morale. The good news is that of the top 5 teams in the Big 10, we have the easiest road going forward. Wisconsin, MSU and Indiana are all at home and the road games are all winnable (PSU and Purdue). I think Michigan will pay MSU in kind on March 2. I see Michigan wining 4 of its 6 final games and finishing 25-6 in the regular season. In contrast, MSU has road games at Michigan and OSU and Indiana has road games at Michigan, MSU and Minnesota. I do not see any Big 10 team finishing with fewer than 4 conferences losses this year.

No aggressiveness, didn’t rebound at all, didn’t get to loose balls, bad shot selection, etc. MSU just wanted it more. We’re not close to 23 points worse than MSU but on this night nothing was working. We get another shot at them at home, need to make it count. Luckily the schedule gets easier for the next few games, these guys need a break.

Overrated teams tend to have games like these.

Very true. I think I heard the top team in the conference would likely have 5 losses at season’s end. Brutal conference (especially when playing away from home).

One bad night does not equal overrated, Emzee. If Mich were overrated this would have been one of many horrific stumbles in the cutthroat 2012-2013 B1G.

Emzee is an die-hard Aggie. Die-hard Aggies want to skin us and last night it showed. As long as we think of Moo as just another opponent there is going to be more of the same. Hopefully we will figure it out by March 3.
