Michigan leads the nation in Fullbrights for third time in four years

yea yea... we should be more dominant than this, they don't advertise these things well, and don't really push people to apply, if they did, we'd have a lot more for every fellowship.

I definitely agree that Michigan should work harder to help students with those fellowships, particularly the Rhodes and Marshall scholarships. Other Publics like UNC and UVa as well as mostr private peers do a much better job. But somehow, when it comes to the Fullbright, Michigan does a good job, even when you take its size into consideration.

Great minds think alike! U-M has, in fact, been working with previous successful winners (e.g. our last Rhodes Scholar) so that they can better guide students in their applications. They did some work on this over the summer, I know.

Hoedown, schools like Yale, Harvard etc... have an entire office specifically designed to guide and encourage students as well as do PR work on behalf of the university. Hopefully, Michigan will take a similar approach.
