I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm looking for a mid-size school with great school spirit, preferably in a warm-weather climate. Doesn't have to have a phenomenal athletics program, just something that pulls everyone together. My SATs and GPA are average to above average. I'm not a slacker, just a people person -- my priorities lean toward a sense of community more than academics. Any suggestions?

CLEMSON!!! Man, I’ve been to 3 volleyball games so far and they’ve all been mind-blowing in term of the fans that are there. We wear orange every friday (and if you don’t you will be frowned upon). Football games are going to be amazing.

i can’t speak for most of the schools, but I go to TCU and there is a TON of school spirit here!! especially after this year’s football season. there is purple everywhere…literally everywhere.

SMU is also a good school although i don’t think they have as much school spirit. Baylor is cool except for the fact that it’s in Waco, which is basically the worst town on the entire planet…

I hear a lot of good things about Clemson. Apparently they got ranked #1 for happiest students of any college (tcu is #4!) and I hear they have a ton of school spirit as well.

Villanova, Holy Cross, Bucknell.

^^^^

Villanova (cold weather) would be quite the reach for someone who describes herself as: My SATs and GPA are average to above average.

What is your budget for college? Is money no object?

That may be a deciding factor. :)

If money is no object, then you’ll have many choices. :)

Is mid-size like 15,000-25,000 undergrad students?

It would also help if you told us what your GPA and SAT/ACT stats are.
