<p>Do colleges start reviewing your application before or after they receive your mid-year report? Assuming they have all the other materials.</p>

<p>I would have to think with the number of applications they have to read they would do a preliminary read. Maybe someone in the know could chime in because I am interested in the answer to this as well. My son’s mid year report won’t be available until end of January, though his first quarter grades were on his transcript that was sent in.</p>
