I am thinking of majoring in pre-med or econ... Which school do you think is a better one concerning academic achievement.

unquestionably Middlebury.

unquestionably Hamilton

i am not affiliated with either school, and i say middlebury.

can you also say any reason why you say hamilton or middlebury :) ?

In the end, it comes down to where you will feel most comfortable, and where your interests lie. Have you visited both? If not, then you should. But, if you need some reasons, I'll list a few. For starters, Middlebury is ranked higher than Hamilton in every major ranking (U.S. News, Wall Street Journal, Revealed Preference, etc.). Midd's endowment is substancially higher than Hamilton's. Middlebury has a better academic reputation than Hamilton (according to U.S. News). Middlebury is much more selective than Hamilton. I'll stop there. Again, Hamilton may be the better school for you, but you're not giving us much info to go on. What factors are most important to you?
