Middlebury vs. Haverford vs. Wesleyan~

So to sum it up Middlebury has a nicer campus, stronger biological sciences, start-of-the-art science facilities, is more prestigious, and has a stronger Chinese department (plus the Chinese house).

^^not quite. Both Wesleyan and Haverford have more science professors with NIH Lifetime Achievement Awards. Wesleyan has a definite advantage in faculty (50% larger roster in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry), NSF and NIH funding (by a factor of seven to one), resulting in many more opportunities for student co-authorships.

And, I wouldn’t be so quick to cede the language advantage either. The Mansfield Freeman Center for East Asian Studies at Wesleyan is pretty sweet.
