Has anyone received anything?

...when can we expect something in the mail?

Has anyone received anything?

midwest, st. louis ... not yet, i guess it will be monday

nope. although it might've gotten lost in the rain :

i live in NC and i haven't gotten it yet. so monday i guess :/

I expect it here in Nebraska on Monday. Stanford sends everything regular post so don't worry because you haven't gotten anything yet. I know I'm getting in because I was deferred EA and got a call, and I haven't gotten my envelope yet.

"Stanford sends everything regular post"

Bah! First-class mail here takes forever + an extra day. I'm not even kidding. I experimented and discovered that it takes two days for a letter from my friend's house 10 miles away to reach my house.

I'm guessing for me the decision will arrive . . . Thursday. Wednesday, if I'm lucky. Hmph!

I hope the people in charge of running your elections aren't the same ones as those in charge of the post office :D I remember reading about an election commissioner who was wrongly kicked off the voting rolls when they tried to purge all the felons... oh Florida, never a dull moment.

Seriously, that's a bummer. On the plus side, at least everyone hears at the same time so you don't have the problem currently on the pton board where every day that passes is a stronger sign that you're rejected because the acceptances are sent priority. Personally I'd rather keep my hope 'til the very end instead of having it slowly eroded. Of course, online decisions would be the best all around.

Come on Stanford, get with the program!

I hope I get it Monday...I just want to know what happened, if I got in or not. I have to make some choices now, so come on Stanford!!!!

I live in northwest Indiana and I received my SCEA decision on Monday after it had been mailed on Friday, so I hope this helps some of you.

I live in Chicago, and I expect the decision no earlier than tomorrow. Unfortunately, I have water polo practice after school, and the anticipation will be killing me all day. Seeing the posts from all the Californians that got in is really starting to make me nervous.

hehe timbo... u could always get ur parents (if they're home during the day) to call ur cell and leave a message or somethin... that's what im doin.

Hey Zeller, when did you get your call man?

zeller: you're referring to the purging of the voter rolls in 2000 of supposed covicted fellons in 2007...

All of that is in Greg Palast's The Best Democracy Money Can Buy.

Got my packet today in Nebraska.

chibearsfan17, I got my call Thursday (3/31) evening.

eiffelguy87, yeah, that sounds right, I can't remember all the details. I read about it in an interesting article online. I still get a kick out of that whole mess. I think California should form its own country!

STILL haven't gotten my rejection letter. i wish it would just come so i can get it over with.

My friend from Northern Virginia heard today (waitlisted). Still nothing in south Florida!

Has anybody in Michigan heard yet?

I'm in northern Illinois and I got my letter to-day.

WHAT ON EARTH. it's tuesday and my letter hasn't arrived! it doesn't take THAT long for a measly letter to get from california to north carolina.

in chicago and i STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN ANY MAIL!! arghh...
