Midwest Universities

A typical College Confidential thread.

"SCHOOL X IS BETTER"
"No! School Y"

Okay kiddies... go to the departments, ask their people about placement, ask them about all the things you'd need to know.

Honestly, that's the only way you're going to get the true info about your career. Transfer is 100% correct, go on college visits to the schools you're interested in/accepted to, ask them about where their grads go/what jobs they get, see if they have the resources in order to make your aspirations possible.

DePauw university

What the heck do we know, anyway, "stuck here in the Midwest" like we are.

It is important to remember that a university does not make one great. It is the individual's abilities and drive that will determine success. The Midwest is filled with awesome Business programs.

Carnegie Mellon University (Tepper)
Indiana University-Bloomington (Kelley)
Michigan State University-East Lansing (Broad)
Ohio State University-Columbus (Fisher)
Pennsylvania State University-University Park (Smeal)
Purdue University-West Lafayette (Krannert)
University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor (Ross)
University of Notre Dame (Mendoza)
University of Wisconsin-Madison
Washington University (Olin)

Any of those 11 amazing Midwestern Business programs will give the highly gifted and driven candidate a multitude of opprtunities, both academically and then, professionally.

Furthermore, if one is willing to major in Economics, an undergraduate path I actually recommend over Business, Northwestern University and the University of Chicago come very highly recommended.
