So do you guys think that if i got three B's and 2 A's the semester that would really hurt my chances for admission. The question i'm asking is how much does the midyear report really affect admission decisions?

When/how do we send these?

They have midyear report forms on the Common App.

But yeah I have the same question as FarrCT. I have a very bad case of senioritis right now and my grades show it!

Dude... stop posting this:

Is it just me or are there no places for grades on the Common App mid-year report? I can list my classes, cumulative GPA, and new rank, but nowhere do I see a place to put my first-semester grades.

My school sends the transcript that has the seventh semester grades along with the mid-year report. I'm sure many other schools do the same.

I sent in a transcript with the Secondary School Report, so I assume you'd do the same with the Midyear Report. I mean, it's not going to do them much good to see what classes you took if they don't know what grades you got.

Yes, your GC will fill out the form. It instructs the GC to enclose a revised transcript. My D's GC also added copies of recent awards, unasked. He's a keeper.

Is it okay if it doesn't yet list that my midyear report has been recieved on their application status page?

It was sent several weeks ago.

i'm still waiting for a grade to be entered on the transcript. will it be fine if my transcript is a week late? I really need those grades to be considered on the app.
