Ordered Chom Chom!
I ordered the Chom Chom after reading this thread. It truly is a miracle!
I got the Chom Chom after reading this thread too! It is truly amazingāso much more effective than anything else Iāve tried for my always shedding cats.
I love this pet hair remover for carpeting. I originally bought it for my stairs as even my high quality vacuum wasnāt cutting it with my older carpet and huge Great Pyrenese. After seeing how well it did on my stairs I wanted to use it everywhere we had carpet but thought it would just take too long and be too work intensive. Well, I tried it and it really wasnāt bad. Not something Iād do more than a couple of times a year, but I do use it on my steps every other week or so.
It also saved one of my dark shirts that went through the laundry with a tissue.
My Chom Chom came today! Iām ordering one for our daughter too. First time in years our corduroy sofa has had NO cat hairs on itā¦and we vacuum it all the time.
I going to try it on a rug too!
Itās really a terrific thing!
On the shower wet & forget, how do you best avoid clean streaks/drips?
I havenāt really seen a problem with streaks or drips. I have the nozzle on the āmistā setting, not āstream,ā and rinse with my hand-held shower attachment the next morning. Maybe between my shower materials and the lighting, I just donāt notice them.
I caved and also bought Chom Chom. Tried it yesterday and it became sort of addicting! Took a few empties to get our upholstered love seat clean but for the first time in a long time it is! H likes to take out pup in his car for errands/walks and Iām wondering if it will help clean his ācarpetā in his car as itās dark and he has to vacuum it often.
I tried it on a 5 x 7 rug - even though I vacuum the rug once a week it was a winner!
I need a miracle product to clean and shine up my fiberglass shower stall. Any good suggestions? Iām tempted to do the walls with car wax!
Iāve used car wax before. Just donāt use it on the bottom My shower holds up pretty well and never seems to get heavy deposits though, so I only did it once and never bothered again. I clean mine with a Magic Eraser, which I assume would just take off the wax anyway.
I love Mrs. Meyers vinegar gel to clean my shower. Leaves it shiny and squeaky clean.
I have a one-piece fiberglass tub/shower, and Iāve had good results with Wet & Forget Shower (mentioned above). You donāt get overnight results, but when I first started using it, after a few weeks I realized all the built-up tub scum had disappeared. Now using it once every two weeks seems to be working for maintenance. I know I keep mentioning it and I swear I donāt get a commission - itās just something that I wish Iād discovered sooner.
I am liking what I am seeing with Wet&Forget shower on the glass, but be sure to keep it off the metal! My bronze showerhead etc is looking pretty white from the overspray. Luckily that set needs replacing anyway, but it would be shocking on something you are not replacing. It probably says that in the fine print if I would get out readers to be able to see it!
A product I just started using and love - a combo sleeping eye-mask with a built-in, bluetooth headset. I can peacefully listen to podcasts or sleep meditations while in bed comfortably (ear buds hurt if a side-sleeper). Really nice & only $20!

Orderingā¦about 6 months ago I figured out that I fall asleep much faster if I am listening to something rather than reading. But those earbuds do hurt!
Thanks for the tip!
Interesting. Iāve never thought about listening to something when I sleep. I assume you folks use cellphone for podcast/music/whatever. Does it automatically turn off?
My husband listens to talk stuff all night - I donāt know how he does it. He just likes it āthereā.
H listens at night and somehow puts whatever heās listening to on his phone on a timer
My old digital alarm clock has an earphone jack. I use a flat pillow speaker and set it for 1 hour (shortest possible) and am asleep well before the radio shuts off. Set to a sports talk station.
I use both Spotify and my podcast app. For Spotify Iāll use an āevening meditation musicā selection and for podcasts Iāll pick something not too exciting. Both have sleep timers, for as short as five minutes. I usually set to 15 minutes and am asleep long before then! These are used from my phone, which is charging by my bed - the signal reaches the eyemask/headphones via bluetooth.
Iāll also use if I wake up in the middle of the nightā¦instead of ruminating on all the things I have to do, etc., will just switch on a soft podcast for 15 minutes and go right back to sleep!
I use one bluetooth headphone, I tried a sonisleep bar but could not discern the words and I listed to audiobooks or podcasts. I set the timer to not lose the section I am in, so I can always backtrack and see how quickly I fell asleep. I find it very difficult to go back to sleep if I wake at 5AM, epecially if it is light out, even with my eyes covered. I have certain podcasts and authors who work to distract my brain. but not also wake me up. Sometimes I awaken at 5ish and listen for two 1 hour timer sessions, even though I donāt, lately, always fall back asleep, I am mellow and resting and also learning something or entertained.
