on usc’s slide room for arts supplements, they ask me to report my highest weighted GPA. since our school weighs GPA on a 4.7 scale for some odd reason, I wanted to specify that as my weighted gpa of 3.9 would look much worse if it was a 5.0 scale. So I attempted to specify by writing “3.9 / 4.7 (highest weighted)”. Retrospectively, I feel as if that may have sounded more misleading and confusing than I have intended. I know this is super late in the process and I actually had an interview for USC already. Do you think I should email their admissions about this miscommunication in my Gpa? I’m sure on the school transcript that was actually sent it is made much more clear, but I don’t want to get into later trouble or get accused of trying to mislead them.
If you feel the need to clarify something, you can always email your assigned admission counselor and simply explain it. You can look up your admission counselor here…

Good Luck
I would not worry about it. Your GC report and school transcript would take care of it. As wGPA has no standard and are often confusing, they would not just look at the face value anyway.
