<p>Things have been crazy here and somehow I totally forgot to fill out the form to pick which Scholars program I would like to be a part off and the deadline was yesterday. The thing is, I will be deferring admission to take a gap year (which is fine with UMCP and Scholars). So should I try to get in touch with them to still fill out the form? Or should I simply wait until next year? Thanks so much, I just can't believe I forgot to fill this out.</p>
<p>Ok, so I figured that I may as well call and find out. Just got off the phone with the Scholars office and they said that all I need to do is fill out an official deferral form and that my Scholars invitation will be deferred for a year.</p>
