Missing part of application

today i received a postcard from penn telling me that my transcript had not been received. (i sent it weeks or months ago, but that isnt the point:-/)

i already faxed the transcript to them, and ive confirmed that they have recieved it, so everything is taken care of.

but i cant help but wonder, isnt it weird that theyre asking for my transcript so late? i mean the postcard said “get us the transcript within 10 days”. the postcard was dated november 22, but they must have known i wouldnt receive it immediately. and within 10 days from now would be just 4 days before they release decisions online.

is it a good or bad sign that they are only now asking, or am i looking too far into it and it is only because they’re so swamped this year?

thanks for your opinions

You're lucky they told you it was missing! My D's ED school (not penn) can't yet confirm or deny whether her stuff got there--posted Nov. 11 from overseas.

thats terrible! although i would expect theyll give you a chance to get it all over once they notice anything missing. (of course, from overseas, there can be some difficulty unless they let you make an exception and do it online or via fax (which is what penn did, you cant normally fax a transcript (i think,) although they allowed me to do so since it is near the deadline))
lol sorry about all the parentheses

anyway, bump

bump 10 char

do spaces * (and you don't need 10 chars) if you put a star at the end

Meanwhile, transcript package has been found. (Sigh of relief)

bump 10 char
