so now I'm freaking out. My mom said she looked on college board and the 3rd lab science is required at JMU not just suggested. I have 3 years of science but forensics did not have a separate lab period although we did all kinds of labs. I think I'm sunk...

i was on the tour and it never said anything about 3 lab courses being required

during the presentation in the big conference room there was a slide they put up and it said 3 labs sciences required. You can also check on college board dot com. They have a "am I on track" option. They also expect advance math, which I have. I do not have physics. I have forensics. SUNK!

ooh ok i have chem, bio, and physics...thats the 3 they are talking about and the advance math i think is a year past algebra II. Thats what i heard

yeah, no physics, but I do have pre calc. UGHHHHHHH.

I think at this point you just apply. There is nothing you can do to add another lab science now. Don't stress!!
:)

i only have 2 years of a language, and they recommend 3, and i heard that if you get accepted they would make you take a year at their campus, idk if its true but maybe they will do the same with you

I have applied and I really hope my other course help negate the 3rd science thing. I have 5 years of a language with this last year dual enrollment thru SUNY New Paltz. All I can do is wait. I applied EA so hopefully the wait won't be too long (unless they defer me!).

yeha true i did EA to, but if you get deferred they said about 60+% of the studnets get accepted to were deferred.

Relax. Your credentials seem strong. If you had written a compelling essay and have decent extracurriculars, then I believe your GPA and SAT will be enough.

In terms of the requirements, don't worry about it.
