<p>I forgot to include a volunteer experience I did for 40 hours on the Common App. It is somewhat similar to another volunteer experience I DID put, however. Is this a big deal, meaning I should email all the admissions offices of the schools I applied to, or should I just leave it? I am panicking.</p>

<p>Depends… do you have quite a few ECs? If so, don’t send it. If you only have a few (say, 5 or fewer), then send it along.</p>
<p>I do have more than 5 EC’s, but without this activity, I only have two other volunteer experiences. I’m afraid it will look like I didn’t do that much community service.</p>
<p>Did you use up all ten spaces on the Common App for EC?</p>
<p>Yes, I did! I didn’t even realize there was a maximum number of EC’s allowed!</p>
<p>I feel the volunteering is of more importance than some of the activities I’ve done, however. Argh…I don’t know if this warrants an email or not! I don’t want to bother them…</p>
<p>If you used all ten, I would not inform colleges, mainly because they ask you to limit it to ten for a reason-- it might come across as they want to give them more than they ask for.</p>
