Other comments:
I also applied to case western, northeastern, and some state safety schools but they’re really good at chemical engineering so I’m happy wherever I end up
MIT’s acceptance rate was 7.9% a couple of years ago. I think that your chances are at least that good, and might be a bit better. Being Asian probably does not help you, but may be offset by the fact that you are female. Otherwise your stats are very good. It looks to me like you are likely to do well wherever you end up. I am sure that you know that MIT will be a lot of work if you go there, but it looks like you are ready for it.
I think that you have a really good chance! However, MIT is a reach school for anyone so they deny people with really high stats all the time. But, considering your scores and EC’s, you have a much better shot then the majority of people applying.
Very few people get 36’s on their ACT’s, so they tend to be very attractive to colleges. Unweighted only is no problem, I talked to an admissions professor for Stanford and they told me none of the high level colleges will count you down if there’s no option for AP. The symphony thing is cool, if you used it as a niche thing in your application I’d say that would make you look pretty cool. All in all, these super high level schools have so many good applicants that I’d stay pretty confident, but not get my hopes up too high.
impressive stats girl! better than mine and I got in There’s definitely a huge aspect of chance when applying to MIT, so I think you’ve done just about all you can. Your chances are better than most, but I don’t think anyone could give you an accurate answer. Best of luck!
