In all honesty, it’s best to go into rush without having preformed stereotypes in general. Yes, you only have two weeks before rush (and one week during rush), but keep your options open and do your research. The Greek Griller on Saturday is a must-attend since all of the frats will be there. You have two hours to visit all the tables and chat it up with as many frats as you want. Form your own reputations; there are definitely frats rumoured to be the “hard drinkers” and “jocks”, but I find that every frat has positive aspects. You’ll find where you fit if you keep an open mind.

This would be Alpha Delta Phi. They were founded as a “literary frat” but nowadays the “literary” aspect doesn’t really come up at all. They’re a group of great guys, though, so definitely check them out. They do host faculty dinners, but then again, MANY of the frats (and sororities!) do as well.

btw I’ve had experience hanging around with Alpha Delta Phi, ZBT, Pike (Pi Kappa Alpha), and Pi Lambda Phi (PiLam), if you have any “impression” questions you need answered regarding them.
