I will be a freshman in the upcoming year at Rutgers University. I will be majoring in computer science. I slacked really hard in high school and didn't take it seriously. However, I learned my lesson and now regret it big time. I am willing to do whatever it takes to get into MIT grad school? What would I have to do to get in? Like some details would be good. Thank you!

high grades, lot of research? Idk what else, i’m not really familiar with grad school admissions.

Kid, take it one step at a time. 1. You will probably change your major at least once in college. 2. You won’t even start doing work directly related to the major you have settled on til about your junior year. Grad schools isn’t like college where you study for an exam and keep your grades up and then write down some ECs and get in. It’s very different.
