Interviewer still hasn’t contacted me
My interviewer is yet to contact me to arrange an interview. I know that I have an EC because the office of admissions confirmed it for me. None of the people near me in location have gotten a request either. I was wondering if on February 1st I could call the office of Admissions to arrange a Skype interview. Interviews are my strong point and I’m sure my chances are slim to none without one.
I see no reason not to email to follow up. It is entirely possible you may not get one, even after being told you would, only because alumni interviewers are limited, and things can and do happen that may prevent them from fulfilling their commitment. Or perhaps there was a miscommunication somewhere. At least by asking the university about it you’re demonstrating that this was meaningful to you and you didn’t blow it off.
That makes sense to me. I will email them on February 1st because I think if they have not contacted me by then then they most likely won’t contact me.
If having this opportunity is important to you, consider contacting them by tomorrow.
