When should the status change from Regular First Pass Review? (I am not an Early Applicant)
Seems like most of us who didn’t get in were deferred. The chance should be pretty low considering this large pool…
Basically we are now regular applicants, so it’ll be as hard as any other regular applicants’ chances of getting in, I believe.
What does it mean to be deferred?
To all the people who got deferred and are submitting the additional information, is there any option to submit this information on fluid review or are we just supposed to complete it?
I just submitted it. I didn’t see any other button
@runnerrb It says ‘complete’ on the status option. Does it state the same for you? Or you actually pressed the submit button somewhere?!
Nope just says complete
It says: Was moved to Regular - First Pass review
Did you apply regular admission? @lemanhotski
Yes, I did. But I havent received any interview requests yet. What about you?
Regular applicant - just received an interview request. EAs: who should I pick? Does it matters?
Stach is the best… then Marvin
@0x0001 Did you receive it through email? Are interviews going to be ongoing?
How competitive is the deferred pool going to be?
Last year I was accepted at a program with around 20% acceptance at a very prestigious university. I assume that MIT Launch (even in EA) is much more competitive?
@annie4564 You (hopefully) will get an email from MITLaunch containing a link to a special reservation website. Then you book your interview online. The timing is pretty flexible, but make sure you take note of time zone difference.
@Groundhog42 What program specifically?
Still waiting for the interview
@jolaoke you can just fill up the address of MIT and US as country. I emailed them and they advised me to do that due to restrictions of form.I applied in the same manner.
