Hey, guys! Launch Summer early admission applications were due in December, and regular applications are due in February, so I am surprised to see no thread so far for the 2017 year. Anyways, I submitted an early application and was extended an invitation for an interview, which of course I accepted. Who else has applied/is going to apply to Launch, and if you applied early, did you receive an interview too?

@Mingting2018 I submitted my app on the day before it was due - December 11th. I received the interview invitation on January 3rd. I don’t know if the invitations are rolling, or if they were all sent out at the same time. I guess only time will tell. Good luck with your admissions, though!

@gdnfwrds yup, you receive it through the email you listed on the application. After reading over last year’s thread, application invitations are rolling, which means you may be extended an interview weeks after someone else was offered one; however, the timing of your interview, from what I understand, does not mean anything.

Yea I applied on the last day and have not received an interview yet either, but I’m going to stay hopeful as I also saw that the interview times were rolling last year. Even if Launch doesn’t work out though, I’m still going to be going to startup weekends/looking at other programs, so that I can get a startup up off the ground this year.

Hey everyone! MIT Launch alum 2016 here.
@GenericApplicant @stomb @tryingtosurvive7 @gdnfwrds @Mingting2018 I applied for early admission and I did not get my interview request until mid-February so I would not worry. My year there was over 1400 applications so the people that already got interview requests most likely just submitted before you. The acceptance rate this year will most likely be between 13 and 9%.

Everyone had a hook, that’s how you get in. Be ready to go in depth about that one thing. Launch is all about being on a team, show Laurie that you are strong headed but still have the humbleness to be a team player. No Entrepreneur has every done it alone.

Had an interview last Wednesday. Went fairly okay… some questions were pretty hard
I had my interview a few days ago, and it went well. The questions weren’t too hard, and I was able to connect well with Ms. Stach. Good luck to everyone else!
