The program content will be the same, but obviously staff and location will be different. Last year, only the program was called MIT Launch at MIT Sloan. I do not know much about the Northwestern one.
Decision deadline is different for early admissions and regular admissions. It is also much harder to get accepted if you apply regular since spots fill up quickly.
Do you need to specify which session you’re applying to
when filling out your application? Do they typically announce
the dates before the early ap deadline? I’ve heard that session 1 might take place when many schools still have finals week in progress? Is this the case? Thanks!
No, you really need to specify. The people who switched sessions were really exceptions who got lucky. Just to be safe… do whichever one you can most likely attend
Hey! I am a Launch alumni ('17), and I’d be happy to answer any questions you guys may have! I know the deadline is quickly approaching, and you’re probably scrambling to finalize everything, so if you have any questions, shoot away! Good luck!
Hi! I’ve scoured the website and faq list, but can’t seem to locate application dates for either early or reg applications. Has anyone had any luck locating these? Also, does anyone know if your chances of getting in via reg application period are decreased, as opposed to applying early? Would really like to know the program’s first vs. second session dates first. Do they fill up first from applicants drawn from the early pool? Thanks so much!
Maybe this is a bit late… But make sure you double check your app video link is working. Broken links really break the app reading workflow and can cause some delay in your application. Thanks guys!
@RedLongTurtle Specific numbers are not disclosed but I believe they meet all demonstrated needs. Email info@launchx.com if you are really concerned about this.
Hi! I submitted my application for EA. How early do they release emails for interview requests? Also, what is my chance of getting in as a junior who hasn’t had much entrepreneurial experience? Thanks in advance.
Hello. My application says that it was moved to “early round under review”, but then immediately moved to “regular round under review.” Does this mean that my application is not in the early admissions? I applied before Dec 18, so should I be worried about this?
Did you choose the regular round check box instead of the early round? If you did choose the early round, then you shouldn’t worry, but if you chose the regular round, they probably moved you to that applicant pool. But I’m not 100% sure, this is just my assumption.
