I did choose the early admissions box. Is anyone else encountering the same thing?
I checked the early round check box and it was moved from regular round under review to early round under review immediately, so I guess it did the opposite of what yours did.
Have any of you guys got the interview request yet? I submitted mine and haven’t heard anything back yet. When do they generally send the interview request email?
any EAs here? i am getting super nervous, are we gonna receive interview requests this week?
Anyone have an idea of what the acceptance rate will be this year, since there’s multiple campuses? Do you guys think they’ll reduce the number accepted into each campus or session then?
How long should the video be? Is it an elevator pitch? Or more like 5 minutes?
It’s sort of like an elevator pitch of yourself. Just describe what you do and what’s important to you
does anyone know if being in the regular admissions reduces yor chances? do they fill up as much as they can with the EA and then only pick a few from RA?
I really want to apply but I’m not sure if I should bother because I don’t know if I’d have any chances of getting in. If anyone knows how the RA chances are please let me know!
Applying Early gives you an edge because you are compared to a smaller pool of applicants. Applying Regular compares you to a larger pool of applicants. That is the only difference. That being said, I think that the Early gives you about a 15-20% acceptance rate whereas Regular gives you a 7-10%.
Does anyone know when they start giving interviews and does everyone get one? I’m an EA applicant btw.
I emailed MIT Launch a week ago, but they still have not responded. When do they usually respond? Are they on winter break? Thank you!
Read the whole Launch 2017 thread. Most of the interview notifications came in mid-January to mid-February last time. Dunno about the volume of applicants and staff, so one can never say… :-/
is the quality of the program at northwestern and other locations gonna be the same as MIT ?
Hi, I was wondering if someone could give me some tips on what they look for in the video, and what the most important things in your application are? Thanks
does everyone get interviewed? or everyone who was accepted was interviewed? what kind of questions do they ask during the interview?
not everyone gets an interview
Has any EA applicant gotten an interview yet? Comparing from last year’s thread, some of them got an interview early January.
did anyone have their interview yet?
ya i got an email for the interview jan 11
@abaddon428 how early did you submit your application, and how did the interview go?
