I like exhausted most of the OCW videos by MIT...(since 8th grade..lol) and I want to know if this is the same stuff that is actually being taught there....cause I found most of this a little easy(the last I saw was 18.02-Multi-variable calculus).
Is there a separate class that is harder for the same topics(I think there are..but:))

If you’re judging a class by the videos, you’re doing it wrong. Did you check out the psets on OCW too?

Also, do you actually mean “most of the videos”? I’m confused about that if the last thing you went through was 18.02. (It’s possible OCW has fewer videos than I thought.)

@quiverfox - try looking at the course listings on the MIT web site.

Do you think it would be appropriate to watch the second half of the videos on 18.01 to self study for Calculus BC?

It would be considered bragging without basis if you have not taken any exams or done graded work and just watched videos.

Guess you are right^^ That didn’t stop me from applying to MIT …always been and will be my dream:)

Yes, there are “harder” classes about multi-variable calculus.

You’d probably want to learn single-variable calculus rigorously first through an analysis course (18.100). Then, you will be able to tackle 18.101 (Analysis on Manifolds). You can dive into the theory behind this topic for quite a while (smooth manifolds theory, complex manifolds, lie algebras, C* algebras, algebraic geometry, etc). You’ll find that a course on modern algebra will make a lot of the theory more accessible (18.701). Some content in the algebra course will be made more accessible after linear algebra (18.700). I’m not sure if there are videos on everything above but problem sets/exams are available through a quick google search.

Point is, most everything is related and there most likely will be something, not necessarily more difficult, you can learn.

Have you done any of the content from 18.03 (Differential Equations) or 18.06 (Linear Algebra)?

Both have video lecture available through OCW.

I have done some amout of diff. eqns and linear algebra…but don’t know specifically
oH and piper, I don’t follow any pattern while watching…I might end up seeing mechanics as the last video also ;)…We’ve done most of it at school anyways:)
