<p>Yes, but if you want to add that to the overall admit rate, you've got to multiply by the probability of getting <em>on</em> the waitlist. So overall, the chance of being admitted goes from 12.3% to 12.4%. lol. (And since I didn't even get on the waitlist, my chances are 0. At least I tried... and more importantly... I got into Caltech!!!)</p>
