So, I've never really played any MMORPGs before. I played runescape years and years ago but that's it. They seem kind of interesting and I'm really bored right now so I thought I'd give one a try. I don't want to pay for one, and I have a Mac, so anything that works with that would be great. Any advice?

Also, I think a lot of them are like this but I'm really into Fantasy/sci-fy/magic.

Oh, runescape. Yes I remember that. Do you remember that one year where they had that Easter egg ring thing for the holiday prize? It was very cool. And the puppets the next year? That game took so long to level up in though. And then when you finally get it up you decide you don’t like your name, or you want to be a pure.

I don’t really know. Have you tried WoW? I prefer RTS.

I really know almost nothing about any of them. I did some google searches and some of the top ones it seems are Allods and Perfect World. I tried to download WoW but it wouldn’t work, so I’m just going to see if any of them are online.

^ There are plenty of casual gamers in MMORPGs. I used to play WoW and still got near-perfect grades, although there could have been confounding variables influencing this (like for free time in general).
I don’t like D3 that much…seems rather boring. WoW is fun, takes a while to level though.

I used to play runescape in sixth grade haha. I’ll still go on like once a year for a holiday event. I’ve wanted to play dc universe online, it looks fun.

I picked up guild wars 2. What i’ve seen so far, it’s not really addicting cause there’s no real grind or endgame. I can play an hour here and there, and there’s no monthly fee. And yeah even in highly addictive grind MMOs there’s always some weekend warriors who manage to balance life.
