<p>heyy peoples! does anyone have input on Chamberlain vs. Herbst for MMW2? besides the fact that the TA can make or break your grade, how's the comparison of their lectures, ease of midterms, etc?</p>

<p>Both of their exams are fairly difficult compared to others but both are amazing professors! I had Chamberlain for two quarters and LOVED him. it definitely depends on your TA though.</p>
<p>Both are good lecturers. Chamberlain is purely lecture based (as in no powerpoint slides) but I think his midterm/final is easier than Herbst’s. He tends to spend all his freaking time on Roman history however and not on the rest of the world whereas Herbst spends equal time talking about all the empires.</p>
<p>In short I think Herbst is more interesting but Chamberlain has the easier exams.</p>
<p>I’m taking MMW4T with Herbst and Chang and I have to say that Herbst’s lectures are GREAT! I don’t look at the clock as much when he is lecturing and I find it easy to organize information when he lectures.</p>
