Model U.N vs Investment Club?

Hoping to apply to Wharton for class of 2020 (In grade 10 right now) and am currently only in Model U.N due to Investment club occurring at the same time. I also have an executive position in the Model U.N club. Will Wharton adcoms prefer one over the other (Investment club being very business related), as it would require me to quit one to join the other?

If there is a preference, could i convince them of how Model U.N built my leadership and collaboration skills, something that could overpower any potential business application?

Wharton (and any college really) prefers commitment in my opinion. Do the one that you think you’ll love more and one that shows dedication (so MUN in this case seeing as you’ve already done it for a year and have a position).

^Second that. I got into Wharton without involvement in anything business-related in high school. It’s not required at all.

Alright thanks, and would the adcoms look down upon anything I was involved in only from 11-12? Clubs were banned in Grade 9 due to a teacher’s strike, so assume that i went to a 3 year high school :P
