Molded cleats

i’m debating whether i should buy molded cleats or not and i was wondering how much are we going to use or need molded cleats during beast? and what about during the academic year with intramurals and stuff? thanks.

I'm not taking any because during Summer Seminar, I had no problem with my shoes on the fields. The cleats are so you have better grip and leverage on the athletic fields. At least that is what it says in the packet. Also it's just one more thing to carry and keep track of.

I didn't bring them and never missed not having them a single time in 4 years. If you end up doing a school-year intramural in which they'd be beneficial, make the decision to buy them then. There is no reason to waste money on something you won't need in the near future, if ever.

well, the intramural that looks most appealing to me is ultimate frisby (for the fall), and i am still not sure about spring. how helpful will they be for ultimate firsby?

and, if i decide to use them for the academic year only, should i buy them now or later?

They're ok for frisbee. Unless you're a really competitive frisbee player or plan on also joining the club, I'd say cleats still aren't worth it.

i enjoyed having mine b/c i rly used them for flickerball and rugby. i don't think i would have gone out and bought them tho if i didn't have an old football pair
