What do you consider to be an "alright" class average for an AP Calculus test? Our most recent AP Calculus test had a class average of 75% with a high grade of 95 and a low grade of 48, and our Calc teacher basically flipped out on us... I thought a 75 was alright (as an average)?

(I'm sorry, I'm just really interested in class averages)

AB or BC? I’d say the class average for BC should be at least a B, since all the “high achievers” go to BC…basically if you get 95+ in pre-calc as a sophomore, you go on to Calc BC as a junior, and if you get 90+, you go on to Calc AB…

Plus doesn’t like 45+% of everyone who takes the Calc BC exam get a 5?

Its AB. The class is a mix of strong math students who thought that AB would be a cake walk and then kids who suck at Math but were told they couldn’t drop it.

My class averages in calc ab last year where at or slightly below 75%. When it was below 70% my teacher offered some sort of opportunity to get your score up. So while 75% is borderline low, I don’t think it’s awful - especially for what I’m assuming is the first test.
