<p>What happened to our "like" and "helpful" buttons? I liked them . . . they were helpful. Is it just me or did they suddenly go away for everyone?</p>
<p>Now I just see “flag” and facebook - I would much rather be able to like someone’s comment than flag it. Why not expect the positive?</p>
<p>At one point, people started “how many likes can you collect?” kind of game. People were showering the a person with “likes” if the comment was funny and giving “likes” as if it’s a game points. So the moderator one day shut down the “like” system because it lost the true meaning of how helpful the comments were. Oh well.
I love your kitty image so much, by the way. I can stare at it forever. I wish I can give you lots of “likes” for that…</p>

<p>OMG, I didn’t realize it’s back!! We used to have stars or blocks under our names to indicate how many people liked your commnets. We went crazy giving each other points! I think we parents learned some lessons… We are behaving now.</p>
<p>I’m glad they’re back. Sometimes I don’t want to add a whole comment but want the poster to know that what they’ve said is helpful or that I agree.</p>
<p>I think there was a brief problem with the web site. I couldn’t get the forum to reload for a while.</p>
<p>I wanted to send a PM yesterday and only had the choice of “message” . Are all messages now public?</p>
<p>No. Messages are all Private. Posts/Replies are public.</p>
<p>What I miss is the comment number. It made it easy to refer back to a previous comment.</p>
<p>Post numbers? Ah yes!! </p>
<p>The admins have a list of requested software upgrades and, believe me, post numbers are on the list…</p>
