It depends on the yield. CWRU accepted 8,300 students to enroll 1,282. 15% yield overall. That’s pretty typical for a private school like Case.
If WL offers get accepted at the 15% rate, 9% of the class comes in through the WL.
If WL offers get accepted at a 75% rate (unlikely), 46% of the class comes in through the WL.
FWIW, the number of kids admitted (which is different than enrolled) off the wait list has moved around over the past few years – 792, 480, 39, 419, 307.
