Are you allowed to do research with more than one professor? I'm not asking if it is doable in terms of time-commitment. I'm asking in terms if URAP allows you to apply to a position if you already have one, or you can join a prof's lab if you are already in another prof's lab.

Thanks

Yes, if you can keep up with it. If you apply for multiple URAP and get accepted to multiple positions, it is also okay to decline some of it - most professors won’t be offended (or care about it) at all.

Yes, you can, but probably not recommended unless you’re working on a joint project between two labs. It’s not the issue of time commitment, it’s how much time you’re willing to invest to push out results. Between school, homework, and having a social life, doing well in two labs would be very, very tough, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

URAP may be a different case, since the hours might be lighter? Then I guess you can work in two labs. I’m not familiar enough with URAP since I didn’t start my research career that way.
