Morewood E Tower: How is it?

Hello, it’s me again! I have so many questions and one of them is this:
I just got my room assignments and I was just assigned to the Morewood E Tower. How is the building? What are the pros and cons? Is it big or small? Please respond as soon as possible! Thanks!

According to the current students in the FB group, Morewood is pretty nice. Here’s a list of amenities.

My son was in E-Tower last year, so I’ll give you the parent perspective. First of all, let me say that the most important thing about a dorm is the people in it and the relationships you develop with them. Almost everything else becomes secondary.

Morewood E-Tower is about a 9 floor building of which the top 7 floors are for residence. The first 2 floors are for university services of various types. The floors vary whether women or men are residents on the floor. The vast majority of first-years will be in doubles. It is very convenient to campus, just having to cross Forbes before you are on the academic quads. The building is big, but the rooms are basic college dorm size … enough for 2 people to live and study. The Underground is in the basement of Moorewood (adjoins Morewood E-Tower) which serves burgers, chicken, and various fried foods. It’s the closest dining place to the dorm, but there are many more to choose from.

My son loved E-Tower (you’ll soon be a pineapple!), and many of his friends are going to be on staff at E-Tower this year.
