The omission of health occupations doesn’t make sense.
I don think health occupations are generally considered STEM
Nor is IT, which is usually more business-based.
I’d consider IT to be related to the “T” in STEM.
The people behind the Homeland Security STEM list seem to be of mixed minds whether to include medical in STEM (https://www.ice.gov/sites/default/files/documents/Document/2014/stem-list.pdf). Various medical FIELDS are included, but not many medical OCCUPATIONS (I only see Biomedical Technology/Technician and Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist).
