Motivated student/average scores

you can improve your sophomore PSAT scores easily. I tutor a sophomore girl who is pretty good at math, and she got a 47 math score with a 165 overall. I think it may just be that he is not used to testing, and now that he has this experience he will do better next year. I agree that reading can help your CR and W scores, it definitely worked for me, though i would have to say that taking the SAT in 7th and 8th grade was the best thing I could have done. That way i wasnt intimidated by the PSAT (although my 192 wasnt the best I could have done), or the SAT, which improved 260 points from my sophomore PSAT without doing any prep classes. So dont be depressed over a sophomore PSAT score, there is a lot of time for improvement.
