Moving in

OMG! You and your language! Proper young ladies do not express themselves in such a manner! lol

haha,
i pack at least that much when i go spend the night at a friends house,
and then i dont end up getting out of shorts and a tee the whole time so i packed everything for no reason

I'm sorry Aussie! Bad habits!
I swear a lot. It's pretty bad. I don't do it around my parents or teachers, but my mom has been letting little words go so it's getting worse. SAD!

ballerina: same here. I pack way too much but then I always seem to not pack enough when it counts!!!

i know!
like the time you decide not to pack 'going out clothes' and your friends decide your going to go to the movies
haha

dont worry about anythign aussie says,
hes dumb
haha

lol, Its ok. I was jsut kidding.
I have a HUGE pottymouth. lol
I never swear in front of adults. lol But otherwise, I swear like a sailor. lol

I guess if Im dumb me and Ballerina are two perfect peas in a pod. lol

wow
your so funny.
your sence of humor resembles my fathers
hahahaha

lol
Your dad is very funny when hes not making jokes about me. lol

lol,
those are some of his best ones!
no,
tonight me and little idiot were the comedians of the car.
it was good.

You are so mean! lol
Forget about me hooking you up with my roommate. lol

so you guys are both going to... Choate? Idk. I guessed. lol

actually,
we're both going to kent but we kind of write on random threads :)

Ah. Lol that makes more sense, I guess! Are you guys supah excited? haha

Swearing is tricky. I grew up with "hell," "****ed," "damn," and "crap," not counting as swear words; my parents didn't care if I used then when I was like 5, so long as I wasn't cursing AT someone, or name-calling. Some adults would be offended to hear me use them now. So it can be difficult for me to gauge what's okay to say.

Yeah. My dad's simple rule was: I don't give a crap if you swear (swear words were *, *, damn, hell, and hate. Yes, hate was a swear word, he think's its too strong. He's kind of a d-bag.) Just don't swear around me.

I'm not sure if this thread is still active under the original title or if it is now about teenagers swearing (which is unfortunate - I hope you all learn a larger and more descriptive vocabulary soon). But - does anyone know if it is too early to start shipping items to the schools?

check with the shipping company and school. Usually a couple of weeks max for ground. My D school states they don't like you ship unless you are from overseas.

when my dad called kent a couple of weeks ago,
they say they like stuff to start arriving about 2 weeks before school starts

Ballerina, you take a lot of stuff, although I'd probably do the same if I had applied for this school year.

Gosh me too.
First of all, clothes. I don't wear that many clothes, but I'd be adamant about buying tons of new clothes because I'm like that. :D And plus, if you think about it, these kids have no idea what you're like. Whether you were the goth or the nerd or the rebel or the prepster. It's your fresh start.
That might terrify me. O.o
